The website may allow guest access. The mobile application requires an account and may process your email address, authentication identifier, username, and basic profile information supplied by you or your sign-in provider. We do not require your legal name or phone number to use the chat service.

- connection, error, and security logs
- basic product-usage events when privacy-focused analytics is enabled
1.3 WebRTC Data
WebRTC connects users peer-to-peer. OmegleVC does not record or store video, audio, or screen content from random calls as part of the normal service. Socket signaling and STUN/TURN services process connection metadata and may relay encrypted media when a direct peer-to-peer path is unavailable. Other users may still record or capture what they see or hear, so do not share sensitive information.
1.4 Safety & Moderation Data
To protect the community, we may store:
- IP addresses, connection identifiers, or device/fingerprint signals used for abuse prevention
- user reports, blocks, and moderation outcomes
- limited safety and security event information
2. How We Use Your Data
We use collected data only to:
- connect users through WebRTC
- maintain service performance
- detect and prevent abuse or illegal behavior
- improve stability and safety
- provide account, group-room, and support features
- meet legal or security requirements
We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. We do not track you across websites. We do not use advertising cookies.
3. What You Share During Chat
Anything you say or show is visible to the stranger you're matched with. Do not share personal, financial, or sensitive information.
Other users may try to record or screenshot despite our rules — use caution.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We use cookies and local device storage only as needed for:
- load balancing
- performance optimization
- authentication and session continuity
- security and abuse prevention
- saving basic preferences
We do not use advertising cookies.
5. Third-Party Services
We may use secure third-party services such as:
- CDNs (e.g., Cloudflare)
- Supabase for authentication and account data
- Google or other sign-in providers when you choose OAuth sign-in
- PostHog, when enabled, for basic product analytics without session recording or keystroke capture
- STUN/TURN servers for WebRTC
These services may process your IP address temporarily to make the platform work.
6.1 Mobile Permissions
The mobile application requests camera and microphone access only when you choose to start a video chat. Text chat and group-room browsing do not need camera or microphone access. When a video chat ends or you leave it, the app stops the local media tracks and releases those devices.
6. Children’s Privacy – 18+ Only
Omeglevc is strictly for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
7. Data Retention
We keep:
- technical logs: short-term
- banned IP/device fingerprints: as needed
- reports: 30–90 days
Data is deleted when no longer needed for safety or legal reasons.
8. Security Measures
We use encryption, peer-to-peer connections, anti-spam systems, and moderation tools. However, no online system is perfectly secure—use the Service at your own risk.
9. When We Share Information
We do not share data with advertisers or marketing firms.
We may share information only when required by:
- law enforcement
- court orders
- threats of violence or illegal activity
10. Mobile App Data Safety & Account Deletion Policy
In compliance with Google Play Store Data Safety & User Data Policies and Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v):
- In-App Deletion: You can permanently delete your account, authentication tokens, profile data, and all associated logs directly inside the OmegleVC mobile app at any time by visiting Profile → Account Actions → Delete Account.
- Web-Based Deletion Request: If you no longer have access to the app and wish to request deletion, email rivelolabs@gmail.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request". We may verify ownership before processing the request.
- Data Retention: After a successful deletion request, authentication and profile records are removed from active systems. Limited safety, security, or legal records may be retained when necessary and handled according to this policy.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy anytime. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated terms.

13. Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) Prevention & Child Safety Standards
OmegleVC maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) and Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (CSAE).
- Strict Age Restriction: OmegleVC is strictly restricted to users aged 18 and older. Minors are strictly prohibited from using this service.
- In-App Reporting Mechanisms: Users can immediately report any child safety concerns or inappropriate conduct in real-time during any video call using the 1-Tap Report and Block buttons.
- Moderation: Accounts associated with child endangerment, grooming, or CSAM/CSAE content may be suspended or permanently terminated, and relevant information may be preserved or disclosed when legally required.
- Legal Compliance: We cooperate with valid law-enforcement and child-safety requests and make reports required by applicable law.
